This year as India celebrates its 75th year of Independence, our Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Indian Ministry of Tourism has selected 75 iconic sites across the country to celebrate International Yoga Day in the ancient yogic traditions.

Today, the city of Pune was a part of this effort and saw a great start to the International Day of Yoga celebrations at the historic Aga Khan Palace. An idea that was conceptualized to promote health and wellness within the city dwellers saw dozens of Punekars come together and practice yoga in the ancient yogic traditions.
