Mahabalipuram - Ideal place for Mahadev devotees I Tamil Nadu
Description
The town we are going to see now is in fact listed as a world heritage site and is situated on the Coromandel Coast of India. Visit some of the roughly hewn-out shrines and fine frescoes widely considered to have been painted during the 7th and the 8th century AD. Check out the Shore Temple of Bay of Bengal, Monolithic chariots called the Pancha Rathas and the open-air rock-cut cave temple called Arjuna’s Penance. Spend time in the city with those gothic and picturesque legends of Syracuse which Greeks gods were reported to have visited.
We started the sightseeing tours in South India and now it is our pleasure to share with you the marvelous sight of structures and stories engraved on every stone of Mahabalipuram – the image of Dravidian art.
