Today we are going to see one of the biggest and the most beautiful forts in India, it is called Amer Fort and it is in Jaipur, in Rajasthan. Amer Fort was constructed in 1592 by Raja Man Singh , and has got Hindu architecture influences mingled with the pure Mughal architecture. Overlooking the vast space covering Maota Lake and hill ridges, the fort is built on a hill.

It has some beautiful courtyards, the marvelous cutter stonework around the fort, and Palaces, namely Sheesh Mahal or the Mirror Palace and Diwan-e-Aam or the Hall for Public Durbar. Also, remember the fantastic light and sound display, which is performed at night and tells the story of the fort.
