Historically known as the ‘City of the Great Sultans,’ this huge fort was once the capital of the medieval Golconda Sultanate. Golkonda fort was constructed by Kakatiya dynasty in 13th century and Qutb Shahi dynasty added more structures in it It is particularly famous for its acoustics and the Seven Golakanda.
The first thing to feel as you enter the forts large gates is the architectural design of arches, carving, and outer beauty of the walls. The fort also has an elaborate sound system, and a clap done at the entrance could be heard at the Bala Hissar pavilion, a kilometer away.
